Ambassador John Bass hosted a networking event for Turkish entrepreneurs at his residence on November 29, 2016

In honor of Global Entrepreneurship Week, Ambassador John Bass hosted a networking event for Turkish entrepreneurs at his residence on November 29. The event is organized to better connect the startup ecosystems in the U.S. and Turkey to facilitate economic growth and Turkish startups in the accelerator growth phase, with a focus on providing them information about building their business relationships in the United States.

In addition to dozens of young Turkish companies, representatives from American tech companies, and the U.S. government, and the local startup community also be presented to network and offered advice.

There were presentations on how Turkish entrepreneurs can grow their business in the U.S., and information on American visas durıng the event.

During one week each November, GEW inspires people everywhere through local, national and global activities designed to help them explore their potential as self-starters and innovators.  GEW is celebrated in 160 countries as the flagship campaign of the Global Entrepreneurship Network.
