Mustafa Kemal Ataturk’s legacy is an inspiration. He pursued democratic values and responded to the voices of the people of modern Turkey. His memory is treasured around the world.

At an important time for Turkey, Europe, and the world, I am honored to represent the United States in Ankara. The U.S. and Turkey, a strategic partner and NATO ally, have been important to each other since the birth of the Republic, and they will continue to be so.
