Organized by Horizon Education Group in collaboration with the Provincial Directorate for National Education in Istanbul, “The Higher Education Workshop II” was held on October 19th at Kabataş High School in Istanbul with representatives of prestigious Universities from various countries, educators, educational administrators, students and parents. Our Public Affairs Officer Dr. Craig Dicker was among the distinguished participants at the “Can Turkey Become an Education Hub?” panel event organized as part of the workshop. As he briefly explained the elements that draw international students to an education hub, Dr. Dicker emphasized the importance of ICE (Intellectual, Cultural and Educational environment) and FIRE (Finance, Insurance and Real Estate as life facilitators for students). All the panelist agreed that Turkey has great potential as a center of attraction for students throughout the world. Students also had an opportunity to learn more about studying abroad during face to face interviews with university representatives at their individual stands.
