Emergency Message for U.S. Citizens: Security Incident Near the U.S. Embassy Over; Avoid Area Until Tuesday, December 20

U.S. Embassy Ankara advises U.S. citizens that the immediate security incident near Embassy Ankara is over, but police activity continues.   Embassy personnel have been permitted to leave the compound.   ‎Due to the ongoing police activity, we recommend you avoid the area at least until Tuesday morning, December‎ 20.  Please monitor local media for updates and information related to continued or additional police activities in Ankara.
