As part of the U.S. Consulate General’s LGBT Pride Week programming, executive film producer Ali Betil presented “Love is Strange”, a film directed by Ira Sachs, to over 70 audience members at Studio-X in Tophane, Istanbul. After the film, Ali answered questions from the audience about the challenges of developing a storyline focused on LGBT characters. He also discussed the themes of love, family, and forgiveness in this heartwarming drama.
