Message for U.S. Citizens: U.S. Embassy and Consulates in Turkey Closed in Observance of Juneteenth

Event: The U.S. Diplomatic Mission to Turkey informs U.S. citizens that the U.S. Embassy in Ankara, the U.S. Consulate General in Istanbul, the U.S. Consulate in Adana, and the U.S. Consular Agency in Izmir will be closed for normal operations today June 18, 2021 in observance of the Juneteenth federal holiday. Individuals who were previously scheduled for an appointment to apply for a passport or a Consular Report of Birth Abroad on this date will be notified early next week regarding rescheduling.
