U.S. Consulate Adana informs U.S. citizens that two demonstrations are expected to take place as a march from the Train Station Square to Ataturk Park at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday, October 29th, 2016. Two political groups have announced that their supporters will be marching.
Even gatherings intended to be peaceful can turn confrontational and escalate into violence. You should avoid areas of large gatherings, and exercise caution if in the vicinity of any large gatherings, protests, or demonstrations.
