U.S. Embassy Ankara informs U.S. citizens that a group called “Justice for Women” has announced that it will gather for a demonstration in Swan Park (Kugulu Park) in Ankara on Saturday, August 5, 2017, at 6:00 p.m.
Even gatherings intended to be peaceful can turn confrontational and escalate into violence. You should avoid areas of large gatherings, and exercise caution if in the vicinity of any large gatherings, protests, or demonstrations.
