U.S. Mission Türkiye
On the six-month anniversary of the devastating February 6, 2023 earthquakes that struck southeastern Türkiye, we solemnly remember the tragedy of the lives lost and the lives forever changed. We also remember the solidarity shown by the international community, including the American people, who rushed to support our long-time Ally and friend. Official U.S. assistance to Türkiye exceeded $235 million, and the scope of the assistance ranged from urban search and rescue teams to humanitarian supplies. We reiterate our resolve to stand #TogetherWithTürkiye as recovery and rebuilding continues.
