In the case of emergency of a U.S. citizen in Turkey, such as  death, arrest, illness,  or abduction, you may dial the following numbers.

If you have been contacted by or on behalf of someone close to you, but whom you have not met in person, requiring emergency assistance follow this link for more information.

Routine services such as passport renewals, reports of birth abroad, and notarials are not considered emergencies and are processed during regular business hours. The ACS Unit cannot respond to inquiries about visas or services for U.S. legal permanent residents. For more information about visas, please visit: Immigrant Visa Services or Non-Immigrant Visa Services.
