Location: In front of U.S. Embassy in Ankara, Turkey, on Ataturk Boulevard, in Kavaklidere neighborhood.

Event: A demonstration is expected to take place near the U.S. Embassy in Ankara, Turkey today, August 3, 2018, beginning at 11:00 a.m.   A union opposing U.S. sanctions on Turkey announced the protest on social media. The U.S. Diplomatic Mission to Turkey will direct U.S. Mission employees to avoid all protests.
