Petition in NVC
After receiving your petition, if a visa number is readily available for your case, NVC will contact and inform you about the required documents. Some immigrant visa categories are numerically limited; therefore, a visa number may not be available at the time of petition approval. For visa availability, please visit U.S. Department of State web page at:http://travel.state.gov/content/visas/en/law-and-policy/bulletin.html.
After you have completed the steps on the Immigrant Visa Process on usvisas.state.gov, including paying the necessary fees and submitting the required immigrant visa application form (DS-260), Affidavit of Support, and supporting documents to the National Visa Center (NVC), they will review your file for completeness. Once your case becomes qualified for an interview, NVC will work with us to schedule an interview appointment for you.
You can learn more about the interview process on usvisas.state.gov.
After your file is documentarily complete, NVC will schedule an interview date for your case and send your file to us.
You will receive an appointment letter from NVC after your file is forwarded to Ankara.
Important: Before your interview date, you should register either online via usvisa-info.com or by calling +90 (850) 390-2884 from Turkey or +1 (703) 520-2490 from the United States and select your visa pickup location. If and when your visa is issued, your passport and visa packet will be delivered to a Turkish Postal Service (PTT) branch in Turkey for you to pick up in person. After completing visa delivery registration, please print the confirmation receipt and bring it with you on your interview date.
If you miss your interview and would like to reschedule, please request a rescheduled interview date through usvisa-info.com.
